We would like to say that we all, as a family of 4, had a great time on the trip. The crew were all brilliant (working together very well) and I think we were very fortunate to have a great crowd on the truck. On something like this you never know what's going to happen and who you're going to spend time with. There was a really good mixture of families, couples and students. Everyone was great and I'm sure we'll keep in contact with many of them. Our boys had a ball which made the whole experience much more enjoyable as not once did we have to worry about them.As first timers on one of these overland truck holidays we were very impressed and would certainly consider doing another trip sometime in the future.

The tour was really fantastic saw the big five and heaps of other animals .Gift, our tour guide ,Enos our cook and Thaibi the best driver in Africa, were really great ,could not ask for any better people to make our camping tour a real happy tour. Highly recommended and will be back for another tour. Thanks again for a very exciting ,memerable tour.

I wanted to go to Africa ever since I can remember and going far exceeded my expectations and then some! I didn't expect to make such good friends. The hightlight of my trip had to be Gweru in Zimbabwe, it was my idea of paradise. So much to do there with the animals and the location of it was just beautiful.

Invest in a warm sleeping bag if travelling in winter, it gets cold at night in the desert. Make sure you hae loo roll, wet wipes & alcohol gel & get involved with the activities - it's an awesome trip!

You don't need to bring lots of clothes as there is always a place that they can be washed; take advantage of every moment out there & take lots of pictures :)

Just a quick note to say we had a fantastic time on our Africa trip Vic Falls to Swakopmund. I knew it was going to be great but it even exceeded my expectations! We went with ATC, and even though it was a full trip (29 of us!) I felt the service provided was still excellent and didn't suffer due to numbers.

I was nervous about the camping element of the safari before we left but certainly found it to be better than I thought and my family certainly thought they would never hear me say that !Everyone we meet was all so friendly and our adventures getting stuck in the sand certainly all made the Safari experience richer. Thanks again for a fabulous and memorable holiday made a richer experience by the things we saw, not only in the wild but also in the towns and villages and the people we met.

The trip was one of the best adventures and experiences of my life, I particularly enjoyed the Serengeti because I felt it was very iconic and that you came very close to the wild animals. If I get the chance, and money, I will be defiantly finishing the final part of the tour, Victoria Falls to Cape Town

I went on the 56 day overland trip from Nairobi to Cape Town and loved every minute of it. It was the best experience. There was so much to see and do and all of it amazing in its own way. If you're thinking of doing this trip be aware that there is a lot of camping, but I even found that fun, hard at times but definitely fun as well.

I would just like to share what a great exsperience i had with you.... I am just back from a round the world trip and africa by far was the high light of my trip i traveled from jo burg to uganda (uganda not planned but through very helpfull staff i secured a trip to see the gorillas). I had 3 different sets of tour guides,cooks,and drivers and without a doubt they are all an asset to your company, all were different exsperiences but all great in there own way, i work in the upper managment in hospertality so my exspectatins maybe have been a little higher than your average gap year student and the fact i am 30!! I was treated sooo well & looked after every step of the way, i can not write down all of my great exsperiences because there are so many but would like to thank you and your teams throughout africa for making my holiday so special

My girlfriend and I recently travelled to Africa and went on a tour with your company on the tour NN14 Gorillas & Game Parks, during which we both had an amazing holiday and experienced some once in a lifetime moments. All of this was made possible by the crew which ran our trip, Katherine, Alois, and Duncan (I hope the spelling is correct).I would just like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to Africa Travel co. and more importantly to them for providing us both with such a memorable holiday. The tireless efforts in which the crew went to ensuring that the trip was such a success is greatly appreciated. Throughout the entire time of the trip there was plenty of help and information provided by the crew as required. More importantly through the competence shown by the crew never any point was there a feeling of trepidation with a sense of security and wellbeing throughout the whole trip. Some people had been travelling Africa for weeks, all overland. I was the only person from USA, others were from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, England, Switzerland - about 15 in total. I stayed in a tent for 4 nights, it was a blast. Trekking a family of mountain gorillas was probably the craziest thing I have ever done.
